Blend the Classic Style of Timber With Modern Performance

Residence Collection Windows

Q: How energy efficient are these windows?

All Residence Collection windows are designed to keep your home warm and lower heating bills. With triple glazing, R9 and R² can achieve U-values as low as 0.74 W/m²K, while R7 reaches around 0.84 W/m²K. Even with double glazing, performance is strong at around 1.2 W/m²K.

Q: Are your windows secure?

Yes. Every window comes with advanced multi-point locking and can be fitted with either double or triple glazing. They can be upgraded to meet strict security standards such as PAS 24 for added reassurance.

Q: What designs can I choose from?

You can customise your windows to suit your home. Options include different bead styles (square, decorative), and a wide selection of colours and finishes from grained white to cotswold green. We even offer a dual colour scheme if you are after a contrasting look.

Q: Are these windows suitable for conservation areas?

Yes, they are, especially our Residence 9 windows. They are designed to replicate traditional timber windows and are often accepted in conservation areas or on period properties where authentic detailing is crucial.

At Tower Windows, we’re proud to bring the Residence Collection to homeowners across Cheshire and North Wales. With over 30 years of experience, we expertly supply and install the R9, R7, and R² window ranges, which blend the classic look of timber with modern performance. Explore Our Residence Collection Windows

At Tower Windows, we install Residence Collection windows using the Timberweld® sash-welding system. This helps keep the traditional look of timber joints but avoids the need for glass bonding, making the frames stronger, cleaner, and easier to fit. What’s more, the windows sit flush in the frame, while the joints are butted together for a timeless look.

The Residence 9 and R² use nine chambers and 100 mm deep frames, achieving U-values as low as 0.74 W/m²K with triple glazing and 1.2 with double glazing. The slimmer Residence 7 has a 75 mm frame with seven chambers, still reaching 0.84 W/m²K in triple glazing, which could help save on heating bills. With a choice of bead styles and a wide range of colours and glass options, there are many ways to create your own personality.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really pleased with our experience with Tower Windows. We had 10 windows, a front door, back door, patio doors and sliding doors fitted, so it was quite a varied job. It's also important for us to support a local company.

The sales team were friendly, knowledgeable and well prepared, bringing samples, brochures and photos of previous installations. They also suggested window styles we hadn't considered to help us make the most of our views, which we really appreciated. In the end we actually went with some of these and changed what we first had in mind.

The technical survey was equally thorough, with samples of different privacy glass and helpful advice on all the finer details to refine what we previously discussed, including locks, handles, letterboxes and finishes.

Our installation was a little more complicated as we were having external rendering work done at the same time, which meant repositioning some windows and extending internal and external windowsills. Tower Windows worked really well alongside our other builders to accommodate everything.

The installation itself was completed over just a few days, which was impressive considering the number and variety of windows and doors being fitted. A special mention to our installer, who was an absolute gentleman, incredibly hardworking, polite, discreet and tidy. Not a scrap of mess left behind! It didn't stop me working from home either.

We're really happy with the finished windows and doors, and the whole experience has been positive. Friendly people, thoughtful advice and excellent workmanship. Would happily recommend Tower Windows. Will update with photos once all external works are completed.
